Grandma Too Sick To Go To Wedding. What Bride Does Next Leaves Her In Tears

1258

Weddings are special times for family and loved ones to come together and celebrate the joining of two lives into one. The memories that are made will last a lifetime and will bring joy to everyone even years down the road.

Jamie couldn’t wait to marry the love of her life, Matt, and was looking forward to the special day they would finally become one. She was looking forward to sharing that day with all of the important people in her life, and one of the people she was most looking forward to having there was her Grandma Pat.

Unfortunately, just one week before the wedding, Grandma Pat got sick and ended up having to go to the hospital. Doctors told her she wouldn’t be able to go to her granddaughter’s wedding.

Both Jamie and Pat were heartbroken that she wouldn’t be able to be there. It just wouldn’t be the same without Grandma Pat smiling up at the happy couple as they said their vows.

When the big day finally arrived, Pat had someone fill her in on all the important details of the wedding. Little did she know, though, that Jamie had a little surprise up her sleeve.

After the wedding, while the guests headed over to the reception, the newly-married Seiferts, along with the members of their bridal party, snuck away to visit Grandma Pat.

Dressed in all of their wedding attire they went to Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where Grandma Pat was staying and snuck up to her room.

Videographer Rico Roman captured the moment Pat saw the beautiful bride walk into her room. The huge smile that immediately spread across her face tells you everything you need to know about how touched she was that her granddaughter would take the time to come visit her.

As everyone in the room took turns wiping away tears, they placed a beautiful corsage on Grandma Pat’s wrist.

While we’re sure the Seifert’s wedding day was full of beautiful memories, we know this is one they’ll never forget!

Did you love watching the precious moment between this bride and her grandmother as much as we did? So share this!
