If you think a children’s choir singing Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” is a recipe for tears, just wait for the back story. And then bring on the waterworks.

A video has gone viral of a choir from Killard House Special School, a school in Northern Ireland for children with learning disabilities. And the lead singer, whose voice will give you full-on chills, is a ten-year-old girl with autism and ADHD. When she started at the school two years ago, she could barely talk, according to her principal.

Kaylee’s voice is INCREDIBLE. A mom of a fellow student shared a video of the amazing performance on Facebook, and it’s no surprise it has been viewed over a million times.

“For a child who came in P4 and wouldn’t really talk, wouldn’t really read out in class, to stand and perform in front of an audience is amazing,” the principal, Colin Millar, told ITV. “It takes a lot of effort on Kaylee’s part.”
