Update:

Sherry Galloway has spent a good amount of time waiting in her home for her daughter, 38-year-old Sarah Galloway to return.

“I miss having her come and kiss on me in the morning. I miss having her kiss me at night when she’d go to bed.”

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department has concluded the active search for the missing woman, but will continue the investigation of her disappearance.

Officials have used every resource at their disposal, including all available detectives and deputies dedicated to searching for Sarah Galloway.

Follow-up will continue in the ongoing investigation. Detectives have been assigned to the case and continue to check every lead and tip.

Galloway went missing Thursday, March 21. She was last seen in the 10600 block of West Massingale Road in the Picture Rocks area in Arizona.

Galloway has Down syndrome and functions at the level of an 8-year-old.

We continue to hope that prayers will be answered and Sarah will return home safely to her mother’s loving arms.

Original story:

A family needs our help in locating a missing woman with Down syndrome.

Sarah Gallaway is 38-years-old, has a habit of talking to herself out loud, usually in imaginary conversations with friends or commentary about planned events at her day program for adults with disabilities.

Sarah was last seen on March 21, 2019. After taking a shower, her mother, Sherry Galloway, realized something was wrong when she couldn’t hear Sarah.

She immediately searched the house and ran to the front door to check across the street, but her daughter was gone.

“My first thought was that she’d just walked further than she was allowed,” says Galloway. “I got in the car and drove down the road. No Sarah. I was freaking out. … Within about 10 minutes, we’d called 911.”

It’s now been two months since Sarah disappeared and an entire community has since been praying for her safe return.

Sarah is  4 feet 11 inches and weighs 100 pounds. She’s a Caucasian female with brown hair and eyes, which are crossed according to PEOPLE.

Police and volunteer searches by vehicle, K-9, foot, and air have not yielded any results.

However, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department continues its thorough investigation into Sarah’s disappearance.

“She’s a vulnerable adult and we’re doing everything we can to locate her,” says Deputy Daniel Jelineo. “We’re looking to the public to supply any tips they have.”

Let’s send our prayers up to the lord in the hope that Sarah is found safely. Please spread the word!
