Duane ‘Dog the Bounty Hunter’ Chapman recently shared a heartbreaking related to the outlook of his wife Beth’s cancer battle.

Beth Champman was initially diagnosed with throat cancer in 2017 but managed to beat it into remission. Unfortunately, her cancer came back in 2018 and spread to her lungs.

It was during this time that doctors delivered Beth some grave news, that her cancer was now “incurable.”

However, we all know Beth Champman is far from a shrinking violet. The bounty hunter swore to redouble her efforts to beat cancer again with her husband Duane by her side.

Beth is to undergo between four to eight grueling sessions of chemotherapy now.

But, still, the future is looking bleak.

According to Duane Chapman, Beth is starting to prepare for the worst.

“She’s like, ‘Here’s the casket I want, and here are the flowers,’” Chapman said. “I said, ‘Beth, don’t say that.’ And she said, ‘What? You don’t want me planning my funeral? Well, I’m going to,’ “And she’ll say, ‘You have to face the facts.’ But I don’t want to.”

When speaking openly of losing the love of his life for the last 30 years, Duane stated in an interview:

“I have to keep faith, I am the leader of the family. She thinks she is, but I am. I have to keep it where I don’t have any doubts and keep everything positive. I love my honey so much, I don’t know what I’m gonna do.”

He also confessed that he’s crying “all the time,” as he struggles to accept the fact that this isn’t just a bad dream.

As for Beth, according to reports, she’s taking a pragmatic, logical approach to what she knows could be her final battle. In contrast, her family’s still taking her setbacks pretty hard.

“I am going to be right here with her,” Duane said.

Both Beth and Duane need our prayers now more than ever.
