Tim Tebow rose to stardom as a college football player and is currently trying his hand at baseball, but he is so much more than just an athlete. His big heart is evident in the work he does to help those in need all over the world, especially those with special needs.

One of the major ways he does this is through Night to Shine, which puts on proms for people with special needs all over the world and helps them feel like princes and princesses for the night.

On a recent visit to The Tonight Show, Tebow was telling host Jimmy Fallon about the events and told him about one inspirational girl named Judy Adams who had written to him, asking him to come to her Night to Shine event in New York.

He wasn’t able to go at the time, but Judy and her mom had been invited to visit the set of The Tonight Show when Tebow was on, and Judy was about to get the surprise of a lifetime!

While Tebow has received a lot of flak from the media and other people, he has refused to let that dampen his spirit or the work he is doing.

“I want people to know how much they matter. How important they are,” he told Fallon. “Yeah, we’re gonna get knocked down, but your identity can be bigger than just your circumstances.”

We applaud Tebow for the work he is doing to show love to and inspire confidence in so many. We know this was a night Judy will never forget!
