When Daniel Ellis was getting ready to go in for his last chemo treatment, he knew he wanted to celebrate the big moment in an even bigger way.

Summer 2015 was a life-changing time for Daniel. He graduated from college, proposed to his high school sweetheart, Gabi, and found out he had cancer – Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

While he was undergoing his chemotherapy treatments, he, Gabi, his family, and the hospital staff would joke about different items from around the hospital that could be used in his and Gabi’s wedding.

Instead of using the items in their actual wedding, Daniel decided he would celebrate the end of his chemo treatments with a mock wedding that would incorporate all of the different medical elements.

The final product, a cute fake wedding video set to Natalie Cole’s “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love),” was the perfect way to show the world that Daniel had finally kicked cancer!

With a pretend wedding this adorable, we’re sure Daniel and Gabi’s actual wedding day will be one to remember!
