Not very many people can say they are celebrating their 100th birthday, so if that special day comes around you might as well celebrate in style!
That’s exactly what Elisabeth Cockrell decided to do! The whole family had gathered to celebrate the momentous occasion and, as Elisabeth headed to the backyard to take her seat, someone started blasting Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic.”
As soon as the music started Elisabeth started dancing, and her fancy footsteps have been going viral ever since!
“She got to the door and the music started playing, she just went,” said one of Elisabeth’s grandsons, Daron Anderson, who recorded the viral video. “She’s vivacious. Nobody expected my grandma to do that, I was just so thankful.”
Daron said Elisabeth has raised five children and several grandchildren and is beloved by her large family. She hasn’t fully realized just how famous she is now.
“She doesn’t know the technologies of today,” Daron explained.
The family is planning to all get together again in July. We can’t wait to see what kinds of moves Elisabeth will pull out for that reunion!
