It’s lovely when first-time fathers share their special day with the world. John Stamos, 54, became a dad for the first time this year when he and his wife, Caitlin McHugh, welcomed their son, William “Billy” Christopher, into the world on April 10, 2018.

Stamos is famously known for playing the awesome, hair-obsessed, reluctant rocker Uncle Jessy Katsopolis on “Full House.” Stamos, along with other famous faces from the 90’s hit show has made cameos on “Fuller House,” which NetFlix has been given the go-ahead for a fourth season.

Unlike Uncle Jessy who had difficulties adjusting to fatherhood, Stamos doesn’t have any problems with it. He took to social media this past weekend, finally revealing the face of little Billy to thousands of adoring fans.

Father and son look great together; the little man already has his dad’s hair. “My first Father’s Day means that I don’t have to hand a kid back to the parents when someone yells cut. It means when people ask me if I’m a father, I don’t have to use the goofy line, “No, but I play one on TV” My first Father’s Day means that from this day forward— I will start to look my age (and older) Most importantly, it means that for the rest of my life, I’ll always be known as someone’s dad. And that’s all I ever wanted. Happy Father’s day.”

What a sweet post. Stamos is apparently so proud of his son! He can’t wait to see him grow and develop. The new father isn’t letting age stop him from becoming the dad he’s always dreamed of being.

“It’s just beautiful,” he shared in an interview. “I’ve cried most days.”

Awe. It’s strange to think of such a stellar guy like Stamos shedding a tear, but fans don’t mind because they’re crying right along with him. His Father’s day post has received over 4k likes and dozens of comments.

“I’m not crying, you’re crying!” one commenter said.

“You will be the best dad ever!” another noted.

Rock on, daddy!
