Some moments are so touching, so precious; they go viral in hours. This video of Chick-Fil-A staff and patrons praying for Trish, a team member has been viewed and shared over 694,000 times.

It’s not hard to see why so many have fallen in love with it. Those who work at, or frequent the Belmont, North Carolina franchise undoubtedly adore Miss Trish as they call her. Miss Trish was going to have surgery to treat her breast cancer. Around the time of her operation, the restaurant manager gathered everyone around and made the emotional appeal.

“So if you all know her from our dining room, today is a rough day for us. We’re hoping that things will go well. If you’ll bow your heads – and I’m not great at this, but I’m going to do my best,” the unnamed manager begins.

Though prayer isn’t something this manager appears to be familiar with, you can’t argue they aren’t earnest about asking for God’s intervention. I think that’s why this video is so popular. The manager is putting their faith in a higher power and hoping all will work out.

“Dear Lord, please protect Ms.Trish as she begins her surgery today. Please give the surgeon a steady hand as they perform the needed surgery on her,” he continues. “Please keep everyone in the surgery room at their best with sharp minds and clear heads as they work on her.

“We need [Ms. Trish] back here, she is our light. She is a pillar in the community for us,” the manager says. “Everybody here loves her so much. Please, please just protect her and get her back here to brighten our days. In Jesus’ name, we pray, amen.”

We wish Miss Trish a speedy recovery and hope she can return to those who love her at Chick-Fil-A very soon.
