With all the negative press police have been getting recently, it’s always great to hear a story that shows officers in a positive light.
Police are meant to serve and protect, and that’s exactly what these officers from Mount Pleasant, Tennessee did!
When an elderly man called them asking if they could bring him some food, the officers decided to check in on him. They discovered that the 79-year-old had been robbed by his caretaker and left with nothing to eat.
When the officers heard this, they dug into their own pockets to help the elderly man in need.
