Tom and Jean Cheetham moved into their first home together in Sydney, Australia, in 1938. It would turn out to be their only home – the couple lived there for 76 happy years, during which time they raised a beautiful family and welcomed six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren into the world.
Finally, at the ages of 103 and 100 respectively, they decided it was time to leave their beloved home and move into a nursing home.
When visitors came to look at the house, though, they couldn’t believe their eyes! It was like time had stood still. The house still featured all of its original design and decor, including the carpets and appliances!
