Besides “The Star-Spangled Banner” or “God Bless America,” there are few songs that stir up proud patriotism in the hearts of Americans than Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA.”

The country song, written 32 years ago, evokes emotion and pride in a way that not many songs are able to, making it a staple at patriotic events around the country all year long.

Recently, popular a cappella group Home Free recorded a music video of them singing the anthem in front of Mount Rushmore.

The group has made a name for themselves singing everything from current pop songs to traditional Christmas carols, but they are most recognized for their country covers, and their version of this song might be one of the best I’ve ever heard!

As they sing in front of the iconic national memorial, your heart will be filled with pride, and you may even shed a tear or two! Make sure you watch to the end to catch the particularly powerful “snare drum” solo.

Did you love this version of “God Bless the USA” as much as we did? So share this!
